Vincent Philip C. Maronilla, binigyang-diin ni Port of Manila (POM) Deputy Collector Atty. Julito Doria sa kanyang pambungad na pananalita, “Over the past three (3) years, we have conducted numerous workshops aimed at bolstering the Philippine Trade Facilitation Committee’s development.

Studies on the development of an integrated risk management system, enhancement of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program, and identification of an e-commerce tax regime have also been initiated. As we embark on the fourth year of this project, the BOC eagerly anticipates more meaningful and high-impact outcomes under the Output 4 Working Group. We aspire to undertake initiatives that are not only sustainable but also paramount in our ongoing pursuit of trade facilitation.”

Habang ang BOC ay patuloy sa pagtutulak ng mabilis na kalakalan na inisyatiba sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, sinabi niyang, “In line with the five-point priority program, this collaboration highlights the dedication to streamline procedures and enable safer commerce. The BOC remains committed to strengthening cross-sector collaborations to ensure the continued success of trade facilitation initiatives.”
